EASTER NOW
The weekend is going to be much of the same with temperatures dipping to record lows below freezing and not much above that for highs. Crazy weather. It doesn't "feel" like Easter somehow weather wise since we may see some flurries this morning.
Colored eggs, chocolate candy, Easter frocks, church services, family dinners, and many variations on these will be enjoyed or not this Easter regardless of the weather.
The main point of Easter for me is the discovery of God in human form. Once discovered life goes on with the practice of remembering the Presence every time I remember that I forgot once again. Years of seeing otherwise, conditions us to fall into default in our everyday life and it takes dedication and determination to practice remembering the Presence - God in human form. The more ego is present, the harder it is to remember to stay awake and aware. This is the journey and this is the destination. This is our life’s purpose. Easter is now and always. We just need to wake up and become aware.
