SPRING CLEANING

The best "spring cleaning" we can do is to toss out worn out beliefs that no longer serve us along with a few other things.

We can toss out prejudices but keep preferences.

We can let go of the past and stop living in the future that hasn't yet come and show up in the "now".

We can learn to recognize when it is ego whispering in our ears and learn to say "NO!".

We can try to understand that people's behaviors are motivated by various things of which we are not privy so we can give them the benefit of a doubt. And if they don't have a clue and are in the dark send them some "light".

We can drop our need to be right and understand that there are so many possibilities there cannot be only one.

We can choose to be silent, open, and loving and allow others to be as they are at the moment and let our responses always come from a heart, a soul that has had at least a mini cleaning by remaining in the now.

We can choose peace rather than war.

We can choose to love when it would feel so “right” to blast someone.

We can choose to desire only the highest good for ourselves and others. We can learn that the highest good will our trump our prayers and wishes for less.

We can stop beating on ourselves, ever looking at the flaws and instead focus upon our potential.

We can be thankful every day and have an attitude of gratitude for all that we have rather than focusing on what we perceive to be lack.

Imagine what that kind of spring cleaning can do for your soul. :)
