LIFE IS A SMORGASBORD
We get to pick and chose what things we want to put on our plate.
We hear some really bad news our hearts become heavy. But do we have to put that on our plate? We can note that choice, bow our heads, feel deeply and sincerely empathy for whomever this news is hitting the hardest, desire healing for all, and then put it in God's hands but not on our plate.
Politics, bureaucracy, frustrating incidences, and the like are all on the smorgasbord but how much if any we actually put on our plates is up to us. If you take too much, you can always trash it once you have had your fill. If you passed by it and took none on your plate you can still be aware of these things and most likely you will give less emotional attention to it while doing whatever you can to deal with their presence in the smorgasbord of life.
Bon Appetite.
